We have said it time and time again. Because our skin changes constantly, as do our needs, our favourite change too. Today, though, we wanted to chat about Pestle & Mortar Hydrate Moisturiser – this week, it could possibly be our fave. It’s just rich yet lightweight, it allows our skin to breathe while covering every inch of it in a hydrating veil. Our skin looks visibly more youthful, and oh so glowy. So, what exactly is it and why do we love it so much? Read on, lovelies, read on. This is a triple peptide cream to be used day & night- ideally after your Pestle & Mortar Hyaluronic Serum. Now, what is a peptide and why is it good for your skin? A peptide is a chain of amino acids, they are basically like small proteins in the body which stimulate growth of cells (for example collagen), peptides come in many forms with each type serving a particular function. The peptides present in HYDRATE promote stimulation of collagen and Increase hyaluronic acid levels in the skin. Other ingredients are: Green tea & pomegranate which are in antioxidants and repair and protect against free radical damage in the skin. The green tea is also anti-inflammatory so it soothes and clams the skin, making it a perfect night time cream. These ingredients will help with ageing and will increase elasticity in the skin. It's a water based cream containing Jojoba and Vitamin E, it moisturises and softens the skin leaving it feel nourished and repaired. Now, if that doesn’t sound like a miracle cream then we don’t know what does.
