As you may have seen on our Facebook & Instagram pages, we hosted an exclusive Caudalie Premier Cru event in our Dublin store. It was a fantastic event and we were delighted to hold it in our Dublin store with Tracey from Caudalie UK! For those of you who have never heard of Premier Cru, or indeed Caudalie, today I’m going to tell you all you need to know.
Caudalie is a French skincare brand, originally created in 1995 by Mathilde Thomas and her husband Bertrand, and was then established as a spa in Bordeaux in 1999. Caudalie uses every part of the grape to formulate their prestigious and highly effective products. Caudalie, pronounced ‘kod-a-lee’ is a term used in wine tasting; for every second the flavour of the wine remains on your palette it is measured as a caudalie. Therefore, the better the wine, the more caudalies it will have. Caudalie have a wide range of the best quality skincare, body care and spa treatments. We began stocking Caudalie in our Ballina store when we first opened (6 years in August!), and it was love at first grape. The range has changed a lot in the past six years, but the core values, the quality, and our loyal Caudalie customers have remained.
Premier Cru is the definition used for wine of the highest quality, and this is the name given to Caudalie’s most effective ant-ageing range. The Premier Cru range is often referred to as the ‘crème de la crème’ and it has truly earned this title. The Premier Cru range contains all three of Caudalie’s patents: Resveratrol to firm and lift, Polyphenol to plump and hydrate and Viniferine to give radinace, making it the ultimate in anti-ageing. The Premier Cru Range consists of a cream for all skin types, to be used day and night, a rich cream, especially for dry skin, or as an intensive night cream, an eye cream, and an oil-serum to be used to enhance your Premier Cru moisturiser. Any of our customers who use Premier Cru have been doing so for years and always maintain that they could never go back to using anything else. The natural ingredients, beautiful woody scent combined with its effectiveness are all reasons why this range is one of our personal favourites.
Caudalie is not available to buy online from Irish pharmacies, but we do stock the entire Caudalie range in both of our stores. If you are passing by any day be sure to call in and ask for a sample- they don’t cost us anything and we want you to try at home and see the results.
